Team Kendall Racing Ready for the European Finals
This coming weekend we will travel over to our team mate’s The Lindahl brothers Pro Mod teams workshop in Vargön and load the bike, all our tools and racing equipment in their coach and on Tuesday afternoon next week it will be one its way to Santa Pod for the upcoming final of the UEM series 2010.
Most of us in the team will fly in to Stansted International Airport on Thursday lunch and drive to Santa Pod and the rest of the team will meet up on Thursday evening at the track and we are really looking forward to this race, where we will try to improve our previous personal best of 5.917 sec. and 236 mph and our own European records at 5.97 sec / 236 mph..
After the race at Gardermoen we have been checking all engine components carefully and everything was found OK, which means most certainly that we can add some additional power and some more clutch at this race, if we will get the right track conditions. Some of you might remember during the previous races that we have entered this season that we have hade some serious problems with our transmission belt when we have added some power and at this race we will try a new type of transmission belt, that broke both at Mantorp (snapped off) and at Gardermoen (rinsing all teeth of the belt) during the qualifications and hopefully this will solve the problem.
Depending on the overall conditions we will have to tune the bike for a bit colder weather than at our previous race in Gardermoen and with some luck and really good air (that usually appears at Santa Pod) we will hopefully get a bit closer to some new record setting runs.
This year at the European Finals we will be selling our new T-shirt at the track (we apologize for the delay last year) and we also have our new “Hand Out” available that we will give out for free to all our fans as long as they last.
This year as well as last year we will have some friends coming over to Santa Pod that will join all the rest of our fans at the grandstands and we promise you all that we will try to put on a good show as always.
